What is Legends of Arthengard?
Legends of Arthengard is a Twitch Community Game that transforms your Twitch channel into its own MMORPG. You play together with the community and the streamer in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world where you fight for survival, build a city, brave dangers and explore the world of Arthengard. In search of new resource fields, you also discover new dungeons suited for looting powerful items and monster materials, but which at the same time pose a threat to the city. Is your community strong enough to master this challenge?
The Core: Real Cooperation
Unlike traditional MMORPGs, this Twitch Community Game has no automatic resource generation. Every stone, every piece of wood, every coin must be earned by real players. The MMORPG runs 24/7 – even when the stream is offline, the community works on the city's survival. While the streamer makes strategic decisions, you gather resources, construct buildings, craft equipment and defend against threats from the dungeons.

Relaxed Gameplay
Legends of Arthengard combines modern Twitch integration with a retro browser game built on idle mechanics and relaxed gameplay instead of FOMO and stress. Being online 2 to 3 times a day for a few minutes is plenty. Send your character on a job and check back a few hours later. Legends of Arthengard is a community project that unfolds over months, not a quick drop-in experience.
Size Does Not Matter!
No matter how big the community is, Legends of Arthengard scales with it. A village with 5 players or a city with 250 players. Neither has a significant advantage. Construction costs, event difficulty and the regeneration of resources and monster hordes are all tied to city size, creating balanced challenges for every community.

Which streaming platforms are supported?▼
Currently the game only works with a Twitch login and Twitch bot. YouTube and TikTok are planned, but implementation is still uncertain. Feel free to follow the Legends of Arthengard TikTok channel in the meantime, as livestreams there require at least 1,000 followers.
Do I need a Twitch account to participate?▼
Yes! This is necessary to interact with the Twitch bot in the Twitch chat. This is how your account is linked to your favorite streamer's city.
Do I need to invest a lot of time to make progress?▼
No, it's an idle game. 2-3 times a day for a few minutes is usually enough to reach the full potential.
On which platforms can I play Legends of Arthengard?▼
Legends of Arthengard is available as a native app for iOS and Android, as well as playable via browser on the website. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store, or sign up directly on the website. Your progress is synchronized across all platforms.
Can I leave the city and join another one?▼
Yes, you can also move your character to other streamer cities. However, you must wait 24 hours before you can switch cities again.
Can I personalize or rename my character?▼
No, your Twitch name is automatically used. There are no other personalizations available at this time.
Am I allowed to play with more than one Twitch account?▼
Yes, you are. However, you can only have one character per Twitch account.
Does this game have loot boxes?▼
Yes, but not in the way you probably think. Loot boxes cannot be purchased. They serve purely as a way to distribute loot within the game.
